Draupadi had five husbands and all the brothers had this incident of Mahabharat period. In today’s time, a woman cannot even think about marrying her husband’s brother and living like a wife, but this is true. There is a place in today’s time where the women Marry her husband’s brother just like Draupadi. Let’s tell you about it…
Due to strange practice in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, the women marry all the brothers in a family. If there are five brothers in the family then the women live as the wife of these five brothers. At the same time, after the death of her husband, women do not even get depressed over it and lives happily with other husbands. This practice is being played here for centuries.
According to these rules, the women’s room is different here. When a woman is in the room with a husband, then the husband takes off his hat and keeps it out. So his brother should know that a brother is inside. The women’s second husband does not go inside seeing the cap.
Apart from this, all the brothers are given a chance to spend six months or One year with that woman. All the men have the right to have their own children.
People here do not believe in this practice as wrong, according to the recognition, Pandavas in Mahabharata period had spent time here. From this time on, this tradition was started and for centuries the women here are living like Draupadi. Here is not the story of one women, but all women has to marry according to this custom.

Is She Raju? Movie Cast: Ansh Gupta, Aditi Bhagat, , Abbas Khan, Amit Behl, yashpal Saini. Director: Rahul Kumar Shukla Movie Rating: 4/5 stars
Is She Raju? Story: The story is set in Mumbai wherein an aspiring small-town story writer Manav (Ansh Gupta) comes to big city looking for a work opportunity falls in love with his senior colleague Raju (Aditi Bhagat) who is content editor that soon escalates into embarrassing moments in their life at a young age resulting in confusion, chaos, and melodrama.
Is She Raja? Review: ‘Is She Raju’ is an urban comedy from the word goes. The movie has an old charm reminding you of movies like Har Ek Friend Kameena Hota Hai. What starts as a television story writer Manav turns into his own Love story with hilarious complications.
Ansh Gupta is brilliantly adorable in the lead role; his comic timing and dialogue delivery are excellent. Aditi Bhagat looks charming and has succeeded to impress the audience. Both Saurabh Sharma and yashpal Saini are fantastic in their supporting role and perform their character as a Manav’s roommate is effortless. The overall intent of the director and the almost clean and ‘Family viewing’ nature of comedy can easily overshadow the minor flaws.
Music and dialogues are great and that is one of the reasons to enjoy the movie in theaters. The plot is unique and the screenplay is crisp and tight delivering engaging moments for the audience. Ansh Gupta and Aditi Bhagat make a great screen pair and their chemistry is commendable.
Abbas Khan and Amit Behl in their comic avatar add beauty to the film with their humor and performance are a delight to watch.
Urban comedy is strongly written to get you to the right entertainment. Director Rahul Kumar Shukla does a fine job of throwing a bunch of quirky characters in unusual situations. The first half is swift and packed with funny moments that end in an unpredicted twist. The second half too is marked by quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. But what really makes the movie an entertaining watch is the nuanced writing and its execution.
This is a fresh try and unique film and it guarantees you will love this film its clean entertainer and emerges as a winner in the department of comedy and entertainment.

Luka Chuppi Director – Laxman Utekar Cast – Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, Alka Amin, Vinay Pathak Rating – 4 out of 5
Luka Chuppi Story: The movie is based on a couple Guddu (Kartik Aaryan) a local cable TV news channel reporter in Mathura and his intern Rashmi (Kirti Sanon) who are covering the story on living relationship, falls in love with each other and decide to stay in live-in-together before getting married, resulting into confusion, chaos, and melodrama among their family.
Luka Chuppi review: The concept of the movie is good and the chemistry between lead pair is sweet. Debutant director Laxman Utekar did a good job of getting together unusual characters in quirky situations. Kartik Aaryan made justice with his role and sparks his charm on the screen and Kriti Sanon looks pretty and plays an understandable performance.
Aparshakti Khurrana plays a supportive friend with honesty but the best of them are members of Guddu’s joint family and Rashmi’s politician dad Vinay patha, who create an equal amount of conflict and comedy. Lukka Chuppi is a simple story with different execution. There are scenes that will make you laugh which being preachy.
Not just the first half but even the second half is filled with funny moments. Flim’s two most popular song (Coca-Cola & Poster) are thrown in at the end.
Lukka Chuppi tries to highlight Social ethos: the good, bad and ugly of it. Lukka Chuppi is one such attempt towards live-in-relationship. The movie is full of comedy and entertainment and if you are willing to watch out comedy by an actor like Kartik Aaryan just go and watch out the film.
