Kedarnath Movie Review: What first thing that has come into the mind of Director Abhishek Kapoor before making this same old 80’s love story.
Director – Abhishek Kapoor
Cast – Sara Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Pooja Gor, Nitish Bhardwaj
Kedarnath is based on sweet old love stories of the 80s with the same twist and turns making it one-time watch movie. The movie is based on the memories of Uttarakhand Flood 2013 and shows how flood affected the whole state. Last 20 minutes of the movie is interesting to watch as it shows the main purpose of the movie for what it has been made. There is no suspense in the movie one can easily determine what will happen next in the movie. The ending of the movie gives you a feel of watching Titanic film.
The storyline of The Film is not so new it is just like watching an old typical Bollywood 80’s Film. Kedarnath is an another Bollywood Love Story with same blended obstacles of Family we have been watching so far, so nothing new you will get to see. The Movie is based on a Hindu Pandit Girl Falling in love with a Muslim guy with the New additional twist of Natural Disaster.
Kedarnath is a debutant Film of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Rao’s Daughter Sara Ali Khan where she played the role Mandakini (a.k.a Mukoo) of a fun-loving Hindu Pandit Girl who falls in with a Muslim decent guy Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara played his role very well in the movie from her Dialogues to Acting, seems like watching Alia Bhatt on the screen whereas Sushant Singh Rajput Played the role of a decent and silent guy.
The first Half of the Film is all about the set-up of the Love story Between two Leads. There is no suspense in the movie one can easily determine what will happen next in the movie. This Film almost took the whole first half to build a Love Story and the only exciting scene comes only in the Last 20 Minute of Interval Scene and Makes you think like watching Titanic Film.
Till Flood Scene you will witness only the same old Bollywood Story and as soon as the Disaster Scene Starts movie became Quite interesting and makes you wait to watch the Film. Only the Last 20 Minute of the Movie shows the main Highlight of the Film. Visuals look amazing and Disaster Scene has been beautifully Picturized. The Writing of the movie is not much interesting and makes it one-time watch Movie.
Music of the Film is very good but not properly placed in the movie. Cinematography and Location in the Film are Beautiful makes you Fall in love with Uttarakhand. There is nothing new to watch in the Movie except Sara Ali Khan and Location of the Film but you must go and watch the Exciting last 20 Minute of the climax which is a Breathtaking and something New to watch in the Film.
