Independence of India after August 15, 1947, several times by modification after the Indian Constitution finalized which was officially adopted after 3 years i.e. 26th November 1950. Since then on January 26, we are celebrating Republic Day.

All of us celebrate this arrangement as Republic Day while celebrating all the festivals in India with great fanfare but celebrating Republic Day as a National festival, the significance of this festival increases because all the castes and classes people celebrate together.
Why Republic Day is celebrated on 26th January only when the British Governments’ intention was not to make India an independent colony, then, in the Lahore session of 26th January 1929, the Congress took the oath of full Independence under the chairmanship of Jawaharlal Nehru.
