Luka Chuppi Story: The movie is based on a couple Guddu (Kartik Aaryan) a local cable TV news channel reporter in Mathura and his intern Rashmi (Kirti Sanon) who are covering the story on living relationship, falls in love with each other and decide to stay in live-in-together before getting married, resulting into confusion, chaos, and melodrama among their family.
Luka Chuppi review: The concept of the movie is good and the chemistry between lead pair is sweet. Debutant director Laxman Utekar did a good job of getting together unusual characters in quirky situations. Kartik Aaryan made justice with his role and sparks his charm on the screen and Kriti Sanon looks pretty and plays an understandable performance.
Aparshakti Khurrana plays a supportive friend with honesty but the best of them are members of Guddu’s joint family and Rashmi’s politician dad Vinay patha, who create an equal amount of conflict and comedy. Lukka Chuppi is a simple story with different execution. There are scenes that will make you laugh which being preachy.
Not just the first half but even the second half is filled with funny moments. Flim’s two most popular song (Coca-Cola & Poster) are thrown in at the end.
Lukka Chuppi tries to highlight Social ethos: the good, bad and ugly of it. Lukka Chuppi is one such attempt towards live-in-relationship. The movie is full of comedy and entertainment and if you are willing to watch out comedy by an actor like Kartik Aaryan just go and watch out the film.
